JIM FOSTER LONE BIRD

Formerly of Fosterchild and One Horse Blue, Foster sings in a plaintive Don Henley style and plays in a bluesy J.J. Cale style. His writing is reminiscent of John Hiatt circa Bring the Family, and it all adds up to a winning concoction of well-crafted tunes, crisply recorded and warmly reminiscent of '70s-era West Coast rock.
